Maa Tarini Temple stands in Ghatagaon, Odisha, is a shrine to Goddess Tarini, a form of Shakti. It is also known as Maa Tarini Pitha, Ghatagaon Tarini Temple.
One of Odisha's most popular Shakti pilgrimage sites and considered the largest and most-visited Shakti Peetha in the state. The temple is known for a distinctive tradition in which devotees across Odisha send coconut offerings via public buses free of charge, believed to protect the vehicles from accidents.
