Expressionist marble structure by Iranian-Canadian architect Fariborz Sahba, formed of 27 free-standing marble-clad 'petals' arranged in clusters of three to make nine sides, surrounded by nine reflecting pools. The central prayer hall seats around 2,500 and rises over 34 m.
