History
Hindu-Mandir was established in 1990 as a religious, non-profit charitable organization to serve the spiritual, ritual, ceremonial and social needs of Montreal's Indo-Canadian Hindu community. In 1995 the organization purchased land in Dollard-des-Ormeaux in Montreal's West Island, and construction of the temple complex followed in 1997-1998.
