History and architecture
Architecture
A 27,000-square-foot temple complex with a main puja hall, altar towers, a Hindu museum, a Montessori school, and a multipurpose hall used as an auditorium and for weddings
History
The Voice of the Vedas Cultural Sabha was founded in 1977 by Hindu immigrants, many from Guyana and Trinidad, who had been worshipping in school auditoriums after arriving in Canada. A small temple building was completed by March 1984, on a site where construction of the fuller complex continued from 1975 through 2001, including the installation of a large Ganesha and, later, the main altar towers. The temple was conceived under the leadership of Dr Budhendranauth Doobay and has grown into one of the first architecturally purpose-built Hindu temples in Canada.

Where this information comes from
Confidence: Medium. Founding history and deities are well corroborated, but reported operating hours conflict between sources and a possible separate 'Richmond Hill Hindu Temple' entity at a related address could not be clearly reconciled with Vishnu Mandir
