Set in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Shree Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha (Siddhivinayak), flanked by Riddhi and Siddhi. It is also known as Siddhivinayak, Siddhivinayak Ganapati Mandir.
One of the richest and most visited temples in India, drawing everyday worshippers alongside celebrities, Bollywood figures and politicians. Devotees believe Siddhivinayak Ganapati grants the sincere wishes of those who pray here. The shrine was established in 1801 and financed by Deubai Patil, a wealthy childless woman who believed Ganesha would fulfil the wishes of women seeking motherhood.
Maharashtra carries a distinct temple identity of its own: From Mumbai's beloved Siddhivinayak and Shirdi's Sai Baba to five of the twelve Jyotirlingas and the Varkari heart of Pandharpur, Maharashtra weaves together Shaiva, Vaishnava and Shakta devotion.

Tuesday, the temple's busiest day, has a distinct, longer schedule: Early Morning Darshan 3:15-4:45 AM, Kakad Aarti 5:00-5:30 AM, Morning Darshan 5:30 AM-12:00 PM, Naivedhya 12:05-12:30 PM, Afternoon Darshan 12:30-7:00 PM, Evening Darshan 7:10-8:45 PM, Night Prayer/Pooja 9:00-10:10 PM, Night Darshan 10:10-11:30 PM, and Shejaarti at 11:45 PM - correcting the previously recorded approximate '11:30 PM' close, since Shejaarti itself (the final closing ritual) is officially listed at 11:45 PM, not 11:30 PM. Separately confirmed on the official site that darshan is entirely free every day and the Trust does not sell any official paid or 'VIP' darshan queue-skip pass; widely advertised third-party ₹300-1,500 'VIP darshan pass' offers found via web search are not official Trust products. The Trust does offer paid poojas/personalised sevas (e.g. via online-pooja-booking, Ashirvachan Pooja Booking, and the Siddhivinayak app) that include darshan as part of the ritual, but these are devotional bookings rather than a queue-skip fee tier, and exact seva prices are not published as a simple public price list on the official site.

History and architecture
Architecture
Modern six-storey temple crowned by a gold-plated central dome, with smaller crowns of gold and panchadhatu; three main entrances. The black stone idol is about 2 feet 6 inches tall, four-armed, with a trunk tilted to the right.
History
The shrine was established in 1801 and financed by Deubai Patil, a wealthy childless woman who believed Ganesha would fulfil the wishes of women seeking motherhood. Over two centuries it grew into one of India's wealthiest temples. In 1990 the modest 200-year-old shrine was rebuilt at a cost of around INR 3 crore into its present striking multi-storey form, designed by architect Sharad Athale.

Confidence: High. Full daily and Tuesday-specific pooja/aarti/darshan schedules are now confirmed directly from the official Shree Siddhivinayak Ganapati Mandir Trust's own Temple Schedule page (siddhivinayak.org/temple-schedule/), correcting the previously recorded approximate Tuesday closing time (was stated as roughly 11:30 PM; the official Shejaarti time is 11:45 PM). Also confirmed directly on the official site's navigation and content that no paid/VIP darshan pass exists, despite this being commonly claimed by third-party ticket resellers; darshan remains free for all, every day.
